ItsTrend ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit itstrend.in or make a purchase from us.

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account data: Name, email address, phone number, and profile picture (if you sign in with Google).
• Order data: Shipping address, billing information, and order history.
• Custom design uploads: Images you upload for print-on-demand products (stored securely; not used for any other purpose).
• Communications: Messages you send us via email or WhatsApp support.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, clicks, search queries, and navigation paths.
• Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and screen resolution.
• Cookie data: Session identifiers, preferences, and analytics data. See Section 5 for details.
• Referral data: The URL or platform that referred you to our site.

2.3 Payment Information

We do not store your credit/debit card numbers, CVV, or UPI PINs. All payment data is processed and stored by Razorpay, our PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment partner. We receive only a tokenised transaction reference.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Process and fulfil your orders, including printing, packaging, and dispatching;
• Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery notifications via WhatsApp or email;
• Create and manage your account;
• Respond to customer support queries;

• Send promotional communications (you may opt out at any time);
• Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorised access, and other illegal activities;
• Improve our platform, products, and services through analytics;
• Comply with legal obligations under Indian law.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share your data only in these limited circumstances:

• Fulfilment partners: We share your name and delivery address with printing and shipping partners (e.g., Delhivery, Shiprocket) solely to fulfil your order.
• Payment processors: Transaction data is shared with Razorpay as necessary to process payments.
• Analytics providers: We use Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel to understand platform usage. These providers may set their own cookies. See their privacy policies for details.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Cookies & Tracking

5.1 What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We use them to keep you logged in, remember your cart, and understand how people use our site.

5.2 Types of Cookies We Use

• Essential: Session cookies required for the site to function (login, cart). Cannot be disabled.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 tracks page views and user behaviour in aggregate.
• Marketing: Meta Pixel enables retargeted advertising on Facebook/Instagram.

5.3 Managing Cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to browse or purchase, but may affect personalisation features. You may also opt out of Google Analytics via their opt-out browser add-on.

• Password hashing using bcrypt (we never store plaintext passwords).

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law:

• Account data: Retained for the life of your account plus 3 years after closure.
• Order data: Retained for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.
• Design uploads: Retained for 90 days after order delivery, then permanently deleted.
• Analytics data: Anonymised and retained per the provider's policy (typically 14 months for GA4).

8. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email or messaging us.
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.

9. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. Clicking these links takes you away from ItsTrend.in, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external websites.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of our platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
